THE DODOS  release the videos for their new songs The Ocean  and Substance, shot by Yours Truly and featuring Magik*Magik string trio, on Rolling Stone.

Magik*Magik performs a string overture and Passenger Seat with Ben Gibbard as part of the 2012 DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE + Magik*Magik Orchestra national tour. 

Frequent Magik*Magik collaborator HOW TO DRESS WELL brought a Magik String Quartet to his Pitchfork Festival debut in 2011.

JOHN VANDERSLICE & Magik*Magik made a full-length orchestral record entitled White Wilderness in 2010. Recorded at Fantasy Studios, the record featured 9 original arrangements and 20 players provided by Magik.

Composer NATHAN JOHNSON  talks about his addition of live, melodic instruments to his score for the 2012 movie Looper , directed by Rian Johnson and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. The score featured a Magik string section and horns.

Brussels based artist CHRISTINA VANTZOU performs her record release show for her debut album No. 1 at the Komplot Gallery with Magik*Magik, conducted by Minna Choi

MIKE PATTON'S band MONDO CANE was the headlining act at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in 2010. He and his 10-piece band performed alongside 12 Magik violinists.
